SACRED FLOW Ecstatic Dance Ceremony August

SACRED FLOW brings us back to an ancient wisdom and knowing where our ancestors danced in ceremony to experience healing and insights for their highest good. Your hostess, Angie (DJ AnJel), will prepare a sacred and safe space for you to unleash and experience healing through meditation, movement, and music, while gently guiding you through the process.

Before the dance begins, Angie will open the Medicine Wheel, setting the intention and creating a sacred and safe container for healing and connection with Spirit and with Self. You will then be guided through a Pranayama exercise (gentle breath regulation), suitable for beginners, to regulate your nervous system and alter your consciousness. Angie will guide you to embody the music with closed eyes through a live-mixed sound journey, slowly being taken to experience catharsis and leave it all on the dance floor. You will gently come back into stillness and be guided through a deep meditation to receive insight and messages for your highest good.

You will use wireless headphones for the entirety of the ceremony, so you may feel truly immersed in the music and leave the outside world behind and enjoy this sacred time for you. In honour of the Medicine Wheel, you will be gently guided to dance through the Four Elements: EARTH, WATER, AIR, and FIRE. Moving through each elemental portal brings to the surface different aspects of you that you either need to meet or release through movement.

No walk-ins please! Due to the depths we will journey, and the fact we will be dancing without eyesight, this event is open to ages 16+ only.

Please wear comfy clothes that you can move freely in and arrive 5 mins early to receive your headphones and settle into the space.
